Good, but could be better

I wish the technology provided for closed captions. There's simply no option to choose them and that's a loss.
Pros: Easy to connect, Reliability, Compact, Lightweight, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Readily on line wireless, Easy to set up

Better wired than wireless.

On the phone with support for hours trying to use the box with WiFi. Once I started using an ethernet cable, all my complaints disappeared. Trying to use Roku in a wireless setting is not worth the trouble. No other device in the same room had the same problems as the Roku. However, content is wonderful, and a great step forward toward cutting the satellite or cable cord.
Pros: Great content, Video selection, Easy to set up, High quality picture, Easy to use
Cons: Bad WiFi reception, Need fast internet service, Inconsistent performance

The box has trouble coupling with the sound on my new SAMSUNGLED 6300 46" tv However -It always hooked up properly with my 40" LEDSamsung My new manual says "notify the product maker of any sound hook up problems repeating "hookup always results in sound BUT sometimes the sound -on initial hookup makes a loud pop then does not hook up

Great extended range with the XD model. I was concerned that the second box I purchased would not reach from the router, but reception was great. However, the set-up instructions need to be revised. I had to call ROKU for assistance in locating site to install required codes.
