Great little box, but nothing's simple

It's great to have more choices for things to watch. We'll be ditching a couple of premium channels. Do wish Netflix had more movies and shows available for instant play, especially BBC. It wasn't hard to set up, but our wireless system throughout the house was very glitchy for some time, and required a lot of fussing to bring it back to speed. At times it was hard to tell whether the problem was our wireless or the Roku system.
Pros: High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Great value, Easy to set up, Compact
Cons: Wireless got messed up, Inconsistent performance, Want more video choices

I had no idea that there was such a manageable way for a non-tech person as myself to access so much great entertainment at such an affordable price. This is a wonderful alternative to TV.
Pros: Easy to use, Easy to set up, Compact, Video selection, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Reliability, Great value

Does a great job

I got the XD solely for streaming Netflix, and it does a wonderful job with that. My only complaint is that the infrared receiver for the remote has a very narrow field of operation. I have to keep the box tilted so that it can catch a remote signal from my favorite viewing spot.

Cons: Narrow remote field

I love this little machine, very easy to use and it works great, I haven't tried the wireless connectivity but I am sure it's just as good. The only part I didn't like was the set up. I am not computer savy so I had no idead what an IP adress or a DNS number was so I had to ask around. A friend of mine who also bought a Roku had no idea clue what this was. I think instructions on the set up should be included.
Pros: Video selection, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Easy to use, Compact, Great little gadget
Cons: Difficult to set up

Everythings great about the product. Of course i would like ALL netflix movies to play instantly, however, i know that's not quite a realistic possibility... yet.

I particularly like the Netflix streaming feature. The quality is great, but I would like to see it load faster - I have a 15Mbps link, and things go far faster on my PC. Pandora works fine, but the third party YouTube app is kinda slow. Overall impression - great value for money!

Overall we are very happy with this product. The one thing that can be annoying is that occasionally in the middle of a show it will suddenly announce "unavailable" & will refresh (?) before continuing.
