love the 55" LG. i am amazed evey day on the different things i spot that other tv's never picked up either clarity or sound wise.

We finally found a Brand that gives us a beautiful picture at a very reasonable price. Read many reviews on TVs before we purchased, and many people were not happy with the sound quality of 55LK520. We are seniior citizens and have to say the sound can be low or too loud to converse.....and we don't wear hearing aids! Don't hesitate to buy as you won't find a better brand then LG for a crisp picture and all of its features.

The only down side to this TV is sound from it. Unless you install a theater sytem the sound is too low........

Excellent TV

Have owned this TV for over a year and have not had any problems. The picture is excellent and the colors are perfect. The sound has plenty of volume. I would buy the same model again but it is out of production. I would recommend everyone that is in the market for a TV to check out LG.

Incredibly Versatile

The 55lk520 has 3 HDMI, 2 AV, 1 RGB and RGB audio and headphone inputs plus a set of component inputs. I've used nearly all of them. A wireless dongle for watching NetFlix on TV, RGB connections for projecting emails, Facebook, Twitter on the big screen, 2 Xboxes, 2 Playstations, and a dual deck DVD-VHS. All function flawlessly. The DVD-VHS is old technology so picture quality is not as good as it could be with a blu-ray player but that's not the 520's fault. The picture quality for network TV, games, and movies is excellent. This is a true gamer's TV. High resolution and no motion problems make for great gaming. I've had this TV for about 4 months and run it hard and long with no problems(up to 36 hours straight playing games with 6 pots of coffee to stay awake day after day). The astonishing feature is the vast number of options for for tweeking the picture quality until it's just right. In addition 4 separate picture mode that can be programmed to individual tastes(off,sports,cinema,and games). Top-of-line TV at an affordable price.

Great addition to our home theater. 55" LCD that is as clear and vivid as any I've seen. Sound is great and features are mostly intuitive. I highly recommend LG products and especially this particular HDTV. Fantastic buy!
