This is an ugly machine and since I don't want use the programmable not worth the money or the space it takes up. It makes adequate coffee only if you use the Bold button.

This is the only coffee maker I have used for many years and recommend it over other brands. I would have given it a 5 star rating but I have experienced "longevity" issues.
Pro's: coffee is really hot - This is a BIG plus. Fast brew. Easy to set up and run. Performs reliably day after day.
Con's: Carafe can "dribble" when pouring. Bottom gets hot - hot enough to cause burn marks on our counter top over 5 years. I have it on a heatproof board now and recommend that if you are like me and the coffee maker runs at least 12 hours a day. This one produces a "chlorine like taste" even after a month of use - taste is diminishing. Last one did the same and I do use filtered water only. Coffee maker dies after 2 years on average.

I have had 2 that burnt out the heating element and the last one starting pouring water everywhere except the carafe. Always about right on queue at 2 years. This year I took out a 3 year insurance plan so it will most likely last that long. And yes - when it dies again I only hope they still make them so I can buy another one. I totally love these.

Absolutely love this machine. I love that it has a 1-4 cup option for just me and the 12 cups for company all in one machine. Will absolutely never will buy another Keurig. It was a real pain when having company. Plus I love waking up to the coffee already to drink. The Keurig doesn’t have that feature .
