I like this Cuisinart Coffee Maker better than the one that has the built-in grinder because it is so much easier to keep clean. It also is a newer version so that it has a sensor on the heat plate too. Works great!

Purchased as a replacement for the exact model which was 8 years old. This new one has to be set on BOLD to make what the old one made on Regular. It isn't getting the water hot enough in the brew cycle. Very disapointed and will be seeking a replacement under warranty

Cons: programmable settings are not easy to use coffee pot heater only stays on for one hour (!) causing many re-makes since it goes cold fast not sure how it’s “extreme” except for the price

Brews coffee perfectly. I do have one objection though. The clock is too small. I like that it is not lit, because there are too many kitchen appliances with lights, but it is hard to see to program the coffeemaker. Our last Cuisinart coffee maker had a clock that was lit and was too bright.

I returned the Cuisinart that I just bought for the following reasons: Could not read the water/coffee amount gauge without a flashlight, nor the clock, and, because of the height, had to move it away from my cabinets to pour water into it, and, if I put the temperature on high, within 15 minutes the coffee is so strong I could not drink it. Very disappointed as it is an extremely bad design.
