I love this coffee maker. It has a lot of options and the keep warm feature is great. Coffee stays hot. Love setting the timer and wake up to hot coffee. I would recommend it.

Was pretty good at first but it started making less and less coffee with the same amount of initial water added. Eventually it stopped making any coffee at all but oddly it used up all the water. So essentially it was converting 100% of the water to steam! It was kind of amazing. It would also get extremely hot to the touch as you might have imagined. So we through it out and switched to a French Press.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm happy with my purchase. My daughter has the Guisinart with the thermal carafe and I may get that one next time .
I do like it that this has a low setting for the warming plate , it works but I do like the thermal carafe idea.
