This TV is awesome! Picture quality and performance rivals any LCD/LED tv on the market! Great value!
We searched for a while for a new TV and boy it had been a while since we had purchased so we had a lot of research to do. Although we were very skeptical of Plasma due to peoples comments. We found the positive to out way any possible negatives.. we have had it for about a month and it has great picture sound and great features that we are still learning. But love it !

I've had this TV for a year now. It performs as well as any of my friends' TVs, even though it's 720P. I have a large TV room (about 15x22) with the closest seat being 8 feet away, and I don't notice any pixels even that close. At 4-5 feet the 720 becomes a bit more obvious, but we usually watch HD channels and I don't see a problem. (Regular def looks pretty bad at times, as you might expect.) Blue-Ray performance is outstanding, and I plan to get a second Blue-Ray (ours is three years old now, no extras like Wi-Fi, Internet, etc) with additional features to augment the set's performance. It's the best value I've found, and I rarely notice the lack of 720P. It's only when I'm watching lousy programming (Sci-Fi channel, what's up?) that it's an issue.
I don't know why samsung default setup look so dark and blury, but after I fit bright , contrast and definition to max value, image was just amazing, just right like a LCD screen or maybe better. But it is a shame sound isn't so good at all, anyway with a good sourround sistem it will be ok.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, image like lcd
