Although we encountered a Horizontal line and ghosting issues within 6 months of purchasing the TV, this TV has an exceptional top quality picture. Samsung has repaired the TV and so far-so good at the 1 year mark.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: issues within 6 months

Great TV, but the price when I got it new was crazy, then a couple of months later they came out with one better and the one I have dropped in price, disappointing but expected. Then, the speaker went out just after the one year warranty went. Next time I think I will hold out on the top of the line product.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First and main issue with this tv is although you get a Skype camera on top samsung does not offer software to use their gesture based controls with the skype webcam. So annoying. Also the tv freezes from time to time and the initial display settings give everything the soap opera camera effect. After some tweaked setting this tv provides an amazing picture and is the best tv in the house no doubt. I can only look forward to more updates and increased features. Keep it coming samsung.

Cons: price, needs tweaked settings, needs improved smart features

I have now owned my samsung tv for a year. Prior to this i owned an LG 42 then a sharp aquos 52. This tv is by far one of the best investments I have ever made and am still amazed by it everytime i turn it on. My friends are still awed by how thin it is.
