I was instantly blown away from the design of this tv, from edge to edge, the broadcast comes alive. With very little bevel and amazing crispness, the HD images pop out at you even without the 3D affects. I love the built-in WiFi and the Netflix and Hulu+ along with the easy to use integrated browser. I also have many friends and family living abroad so the Skype is a great tool as well. To enhance the built-in feel of the television, hang it against the wall with Samsung's Ultra Slim bracket. The sound was not too important to me as I have a home theatre set up and nowadays feel that if you are buying a tv of this magnitude, leave the audio to external sources. The graphics are incredibly realistic and gaming is incredible on this tv. I liked it so much I have ordered the smaller one for my office!
I've owned this TV for about 3 weeks, and am totally amazed at the quality and features. Picture quality is the best I've seen, absolutely gorgeous. The half-inch clear bezel gives the impression that the picture is floating in mid air when watching a movie at night. The edge seems to just disappear. Although 3D was not a priority when I chose this model, as I think the technology still has to mature somewhat, Samsung has perfected it as far as it can... for now. I am quite impressed. 3D videos do pop out at you. In some instances, it actually looked better than in the theater. 2D-to-3D conversion also works well, not as good as native 3D, but that is to be expected. You can connect a portable hard drive or thumb drive to the USB ports and view pictures, listen to music or view videos in various formats including AVI, WMA, TS, and MKV. Wireless network allows you to access media and stream from any PC on your home network. The internet web browser works well with the QWERTY remote, but will not take the place of a PC or laptop. Navigating may take a little getting used to. The picture-in-picture feature allows you browse the web and continue to watch your TV program or video simultaneously. All the web apps are present through the SmartHub including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube as well as Netflix, Hulu, ESPN and Skype. This is just a few of the features of this TV that stood out for me as I'm still playing with it. 1080p, 240Hz, 3D, SRS TheaterSound, wireless connectivity, and enough inputs to hook up game systems, BluRay players, external speakers and a digital web cam, without creating a wiring mess, and internet apps galore...this TV has it all, or should I say....it's pretty SMART!!! .
This is the third Samsung TV that I have owned. Even though I had already had great success with the other two TV's, when it was time to get a bigger screen I made the mistake of purchasing another brand. I took it home, set it up and instantly disliked it. The additional yellow color created a unrealistic cast to everything and it didn't have the blacks that my two Samsung's had. Boxed it right up and exchanged it for the 56" Samsung 7000. Wow! What a difference. The Samsung was easy to set up and the picture was flawless. The WiFi was easy to get going and now my wife and I watch movies every night using the wireless internet connection. I can't comment on the 3D aspect. But, maybe someday we will try that out also. I learned my lesson. From now on I won't even consider other brands.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, wi fi ready, no need to adjust factory settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this T.V., it has so many options and the 3D is just awsome. I purchased the Samsung 3D Blueray to go with the T.V. and extra Active glasses (purchased from Samsung, they have the best price and very available) also the "Smart option" gives so many Apps and options for movie and Internet and everything is at your fingertips and is easy to use. The only problem with the T.V. is getting the family to go to thier homes to watch thiers.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to put together and set into place
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first new HD or even 3D TV. I was not sure what to expect but what I got was not what I was expecting. As soon as I plugged in and turned on the TV I noticed there was a dark line going across the top of the screen. I tried to adjust the setting to see if it would chang but I was not successfull. That was least of my problems. After hooking up the new HD box from the cable company the TV started to turn on and off all by itself. Everything I tried did not work and after calling Samsung and trying to troulbleshoot they told me my 1 day old TV needs to be serviced. Well after spending a ton of money I was not happy with "Your TV needs to be serivced" I started to do some research and I found out this is a problem with the Samsung TVs. I read that the motherboard sometimes needs to be replace because it burns out after a few years. My TV only lasted one day. Thankfully the company that I ordered from took the Tv back and had another delivered at no charge. After this experience I have doubts with this product. Overall this TV is everthing that I have ever asked for. I just hope I never have any future problems with this TV.
I've always been a fan of one of your competitors, but when I saw this HDTV playing at a retailer close to home I was blown away. I thought it was a bit expensive and more than I wanted to spend but I decided to pull the trigger as the wife gave me the OK. When I got it home and set it up I new instantly that I made the right choice. The high definition with satellite and this TV are made for each other. The 3D on this TV is amazing and bettter than I could of imagined, even the regular high def. programing can be adjusted to 3D with one push of a button. It may not be as good as programing made for 3D but it still gives you the 3D effect and looks good. Set up and adjustment are easy if you can follow directions. Overall this is the best TV I could of hoped for and I'm glad I was opened minded about something other than a your competitor.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

After purchasing my first Samsung PN59D550 in March I was very pleased until there were a couple of pixel's out. Samsung exchanged it for me and I got a PN59D6500 and within 12 days a pixel went out. I returned it and decided to go back to LED and bought the UN55D7000. The design is amazing, and the images it produces are stunning. QWERTY remote was included in the box and received Samsung 3D starter kit along with a 3d blu-ray player. I was afraid because I got so familiar with the warm colors of the plasma TV but this TV blew the plasma out of the water. So far I've watched Thor, Megamind, and Avatar all on 3D and am left speechless at the picture quality and vibrant colors. I owned a LG LCD 120hz in the past but you cant even compare them. I am extremely happy with this tv even thought it is 55' instead of 59' but hey size does not matter. Thank you Samsung. Waiting for next year to see what you create next.
We bought this TV primarily because the TV had other similar features as comparable TVs and because Picture in Picture was offered. We planned to use the PIP function to watch HD TV and work on our PC simultaneously. HOWEVER PIP only works with a coax input (PIP is only available in standard definition and not high definition). What is the point of coax these days when everything is available through HDMI? Keep this in mind when considering this TV, PIP only works with coax!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, picture in picture coax only
