Still a good TV but with some Draw backs...

This TV has an outstanding picture in 2D and 3D. Colors are vibrant, deep blacks, great contrast ratio . However, I bought this TV picture quality AND all the additional features (were it fell short). Pros: Picture Quality, QWERTY remote and AllShare. Cons: Web Browser...it is the worst i have every used. Interface is clunky and very slow. Flash is install but completely unusable. You can surf the web but don't expect to use it for multimedia. The documentation for the pc connectivity does not exist. I tried to network it wirelessly to my computer. I see the computer on the tv's network but I can not access it without documentation. The Internet web browser is awful. It's terribly clunky and slow to load pages and video from web sites, even on my 22Mbps download network. Hard to navigate around and find what you want. Apps...they attempted to make up for the poor browser but are limited at best...leaving a lot to be desired. Overall, a great TV BUT terrible SMART TV!!!
Pros: great 3d picture, great picture in general, thin and has clean lines, can view picture from all angles, plays many media formats through usb ports
Cons: Did not meet expectations, web browser is awful, clunky and slow to navigate, problems with playing computer media wirelessly
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything I had expected

I'm a long time fan of Samsung products ever since my first rear projection DLP. I have now owned several flat panels and only buy Samsung because I get great value for my money. All of my displays are still operating and this unit was just an upgrade for our family room. The kids love the 3D (I'm impressed too) and we all look forward to a long use of this set.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Anyone that didn't rate this tv 5 stars on everything, in my opinion, has very little tech savvy. This tv does everything it is suppose to. Very simple to use and set up.
I have had 3 3d tv's and this one by far exceeds all the others. The design, ease of use, remote and built in functionality has far surpassed all of my expectations. Samsung hit another home run with this tv!

I purchased this product about a month ago, last Saturday night it started turning on and off, I called Samsung
and they said I needed service. I should get service next week. I have serious issues with the quality of this product.

Worst TV I've ever owned

The picture quality of this TV is horrible. The blacks are all distorted and grainy. It almost looks like its snowing in many dark scenes. Contrast can not be calibrated as it appears to adjust brightness instead. I've never been so disappointed in a purchase. I've now had two of these and they both looked equally bad. The store displays looked OK but the ones I brought home looked nothing like they did on the showroom floor.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, doesn't work as advertised.

3D Glasses do not work with last year's model

The tv has some nice features. I was VERY disappointed when I found out that the 3D glasses are not compatible with last year's glasses. Why no backward compatibility?? I thought I would have four glasses to use between the two tv's. I have a tv from last year also. I am thinking about taking this one back. I think I should wait a year. The glasses are not compatible with my other Samsung. I guess I should wait a year and let Samsung stabilize their features and combatibility. The picture quality is excellent.
