Great Design - Great Features

The TV is a very nice TV. The problems I have with it come down to the "fast action" movies/sports. If you notice someone on screen make a fast movement with their hands or feet, you will notice a blur. It does have some settings that are supposed to help eliminate this, but I still notice it.

The image on this TV is unreal!!, it looks like you are watching people live. I was watching a live ice hockey game last night and it looks like I was sitting in the stadium, it was awesome!!.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: speaker sound

This TV far exceeds my expectations. The menus are easy to maneuver, great design, HD Picture quality, and 3D is incredible! The apps take this TV to another level. For any movie lover, this is heaven. The picture actually looks better in my house than it did in the store. The technology integration is seamless. This TV does not intimidate, rather it encourages you to explore all the SmartTV options. Well done.

What an awesome looking TV! Could it be any thinner? Edge-to-edge picture looks stunning. And when watching a bright picture- the image quality is AMAZING. 3D works just as good as the top plasma.
The biggest con to the TV is one of it's highest touted features though- the LEDs. On dark pictures, (especially if a movie/TV show has a black screen between scenes), you see flashlighting. And it's across the board on these sets. There's also edge bleeding- mostly on the lower-left of the screens. I've seen a few- and they all have it. You'd never notice on a full frame picture with nice, bright colors- but it's always there. If not for this- the TV would be PERFECT!

We are so very pleased with our purchase. Not only are we pleased, we are almost thrilled beyond words. The picture is so realistic, we feel we are in the midst of the action while watching movies. Sports broadcasts are phenomenal! We especially love the Smartv features that allow us to access the internet in a timely manner. Netflix is now a breeze!! Love, love, love this tv. My only regret is we did not purchase it sooner!!

The good the bad and the ugly

First off, this TV is absolutely beautiful, its slim and performs great! I love the way it hangs on my wall, plays my 3D blu-rays and the realism it brings to high def pictures. On the downside, im not too happy on the remote albeit its fancy and has plenty of buttons the fact that there is a delay between pressing the buttons and getting a slow reaction (even though minimal) its still too slow for such a smart tv. I do wish for my remote to be able to control my cable box so that i can get rid of another remote off my coffee table and in addition why is the light button on on for two seconds? I need a few seconds more when operating it in the dark! I wish we could customize a few features on the remote.
The apps fall short for me as well, and the web browser aint the best by a long shot. I wish i could find a better app that would run faster and some apps dont make use of the keyboard remote. WHY?! thats why its there and all apps should utilize it. Looking through the app store I have not seen much of anything interesting. I do like the ESPN & MLB app but what about getting the NBA? Nascar? and NFL specifically? As for the Netflix... its better if you run Netflix off your computer or even the ps3 because the menu and options on the tv lack many buttons/features from other versions.
And last.. I connected the external audio output to my sub and noticed that when I mute the TV the audio does not mute on the output? Why doesnt it follow if i mute or turn down the volume? Isnt it common sense?
I've had the TV for about two weeks now and im impress with the picture quality, i should know I work for HD broadcast company as a broadcast engineer so i give this tv two thumbs up but as for the "Smart" side of the tv it needs some improvements. I hope that there will be updates that will fix some of these problems and others i've seen on the boards.
I would recommend this tv but it wont replace my computer and the apps my ps3 gives me.
