An amazing TV experience

When deciding to purchase a slim line HD-LED tv I relied on the salesman to guide me to what I thought I wanted in a product. After viewing several other Samsung models and those of other companies we came upon the 7000 series unit. Getting the details on the sales floor can be a whirl wind experience of the various features. I did not realize what an amazing product I had purchased until I had set up the tv and was slowly going through the capabilities of this product.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had previous Hi-Def TV's, but this one is the best I have ever seen - the picture looks just like you are in the room, even on plain TV, HD and DVD looks even better!
It was easy to hook up and browse the internet with the built in Wi-Fi, and the 3D features are amazing too.
I liked the ability to integrate my ipad, and even show pictures and movies from it - pretty cool
You will be pleased with this TV

This is 1st time I have ever submitted a review for anything but after seeing this TV in my rec room all I can say is WOW. I bought this to replace a 46in lcd sony bravia z tv and I must say the picture quality on the Samsung blows Sony out of the water. This Tv is loaded with all sorts of apps and connects easy to any wireless network. You wont be disapointed!!

Incredible Color

We have enjoyed this TV for about a month now and have had no problems. This is our first flat screen, so the HD is a new world for us. The most impressive thing for us is the vivid color, especially on movies like Avatar. Wow. The room it now occupies is approximately 25ft by 20ft, which seems to be perfect for all-round viewing. We would recommend this unit purely on it's sharpness and color, but the lower wattage draw and no heat, have to mentioned. Up-conversion is very nicely accomplished on this unit coming from my standard definition DVR. We like it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, low power draw

Awful feeling

This LED TV was installed by professional installer from the store hhgregg, Lawrenceville, NJ location.
Soon to our horror we found:
1. White light bleeding in the bottom corner (towards power light)
2. Small red light at same corner but 10 inches inside and 4 inches upwards - its like a robot eye but very small and sharp
3. Any setting resulting in darker picture

Very disappointed. Going to invoke warranty and see it helps otherwise will return the TV for good.

The overall design is fantastic

I bought this unit last March 18 and delivered March 30,2011. Beautiful pictures and the style. From the the time I was using the TV, there was a white shadow on the left lower side of the screen. The white shadow is progressing horizontally which is noticeable on viewing. I called the store March 30 and told me to bring the receipt of purchase for exchange. Today, April 11 will deliver my new unit.I loved the TV but im worried about the durability or any defect will occur on the future.

One of the Best TVs on the Market.

The title and rating says it all. But to elaborate:
1) I love the way it connects to my wireless home network. It was really intuitive during the initial setup. The one downside to this, though, is the bandwidth issue for viewing the streamed 3D movie previews.
2) The dual sided remote. It allows for better texting feel and capability. One side is more for general TV functions while the other accommodates the use of the Internet features and navigation.
3) The beauty of the product design. The solid, glossy front makes cleaning of these newer models very easy. the slim border visually allows for a more immersive TV viewing experience - especially in 3D Mode.
4) Picture quality. It is one of the best pictures that I noticed in the storeroom as I viewing the multitude of manufacturer models on display. The size and clarity is, hands-down, one of the best out on the market today. The picture is so bright and vibrant and clear.
5) The AnyNet+. The use of this feature automatically detects devices that are connected to your TV. While the remote is not a universal type, this TV communicates to your peripherals (like my Surround Sound system) and lets me control them through the TV itself. No more pushing buttons to select the peripheral.
6) The UPnP feature. This TV auto-detects everything that gets plugged into it, making set-up that much easier.
7) The 3D mode. With its built in 3D transmitter and the active 3D glasses, this TV allows me to not only watch 3D movies via my PS3 but also allows me to enjoy the newest in 3D gaming.
I am a 2-time owner of Samsung TVs, as they have yet to let me down. While a little on the pricey side - as with all the newest technologies - It is definitely worth it for the overall experience that you get from this TV.

We have been a hold-out on getting a new TV only because our very old 35" TV tube would not die. After 17 years, it started to show its old age and we started to shop for a replacement. We went everywhere and saw all the products. Our decision to buy this TV was based on product features and price in this order. Everything about our new flatscreen is awesome. We probably could have done without the 3D application, but it is a very nice feature to have. The ability to upconvert from 2D to 3D is pretty cool. Our TV watching experience (lots of movies) has changed 100%. It's not the same as what we had gotten used to. Brilliant picture!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, simple setup, compatible with my home theater receiver
