Smart, brilliant, beautiful

The first thing that attracts one is the beauty of it. Elegently designed. The craftsmanship is excellent, manufacturing is good and gives an overall air of modernity.
It is quite smart. The smart hub is a very useful place to get pretty much anything i want that previously had to come from external devices like x-box or the bd player. Access to Netflix and other services is quite seemless. I havent gone through many apps, but i can see the potential.
Picture quality is very good. I love the dynamic backlight feature that keeps the strain away from eyes when watching the tv in dimly lit or dark. At the same time, it brightens up when there is too much ambient light.
The remote is a classic. Love the positioning of buttons and the querty keyboard.
I will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good tv.

The best TV in terms of display and design. HD programming and blu-ray have never looked better. Can't comment about the built-in speakers, I have it hooked up to surround sound. I have a mini mac with a wireless keyboard and trackpad hooked up to it, so I haven't taken advantage of the apps. 3D programming in smart hub is very cool.
The only con would be the remote control. I was hoping it would be more of a universal remote. It isn't, so I'll keep using my harmony as I have in the past.

This is a great TV. The picture is very bright and vibrant on this TV, just as all samsung TV's are. The app store is great, and I applaud samsung for the free 3d content available in the app store. One app that they need to introduce is the app called crackle. My brother has a sony tv that has it, and I am a bit jealous that I don't have it on my samsung. The picture quality is overall pretty great, but when the screen goes all black sometimes there are splotches from the led backlighting. One other issue that I sometimes have is my remote seems to sometimes have trouble talking to my TV. This is usually remedied by taking the batteries out of the remote and putting them back in. Overall, great picture, great features, great quality, great form. Another great product from samsung.

Awesome TV with Smart Hub!

This TV is the coolest thing I've ever had. My wife was blown away by the social TV function. She loves to update her Facebook page all day. Noe she can do it from the comfort of the couch while watching her favorite shows.

Great 3D but 2D slightly less than perfect

This was replacing my 46 inch LCD rear lit set. The edge lighting on this makes for uneven shading on darker scenes...but that's just being picky. All animated programs look awesome. Certain sports get a bit of light haze depending on the uniform and field colors, but this is very game specific...so I don't know if it is the set or the production. 3D viewing is truely terrific. Can't say I have much use for the apps other than streaming video content. The rest of the apps are pretty useless, so don't think you are getting a smartphone-like device.

My father purchased last years model and I had to have one. The QWERTY remote is awesome for browsing the web, and with the TV being Wi-Fi ready it makes everything with your home network seamless.
Picture and design are fantastic.
