OK I BOUGHT THIS ON SAT NIGHT AND I NOTICE IT HAD LIKE A GHOSTLY WHITE STRIP COMING FROM THE TOP OF THE SCREEN SO I THOUGHT MAYBE ITS JUST WARMING UP AND IT WILL GO AWAY. 2 DAYS PAST AND IT WAS STILL THERE, SO I RETURNED IT AND GOT A NEW ONE. THIS ONE NO GHOSTLY STRIP,THE FIRST ONE PROBABLY WAS A LEMON BUT NOW EVERYTHINGS GREAT,PICTURE IS BEAUTIFUL AND STUNNING. GLAD I BOUGHT IT.NOW I CAN GET MY GAMING ON...LOL
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, apps, internet access
Cons: make sure you check your screen

Great Investment in HD TV

Magnificent picture!
Viewing angle very generous.
3-D viewing through Samsung Blu-Ray D7500 far exceeds expectations. 2D upscaling to 3D surprisingly good.
Easy set-up with HDMI cabling and network.
Speakers too small (poor sound quality) but OK for news broadcasts ... switch to high end theater system for Blu-Ray and TV broadcasts with music or other sounds important to a program ... simply turn on theater and turn down (or off) TV internal sound.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

This TV is amazing! Excellent picture quality, thin almost non-existent bezel, I hanged it on the wall and it looks great. Love apps! and the fact that I don’t need third party device loke Wii or xBox to stream Netflix, functional USB ports – connected hard drive and was able to watch “.avi” and “.mp4” files. Only issue I had was connecting qwerty remote ‘till I came real close to TV, about 5” – 6”.
This is absolutely the best TV we ever owned. This replaced a 2006 50” Plasma of other brand which was a major hit back then. Gave it to my in-laws for Christmas of that year when we moved into our new home that came with a Samsung projection TV built into our wall, which was also stunning. This 55” LED 8000 Smart TV is amazing. Easy set up. I thought it was going to be over our heads as far as a learning curve but at an age of 56 I surprised even my 25 year old son that my wife and I set it up with ease with out a ripple. Love the 3D movies. My wife loves to Facebook her friends. It is truly a Smart TV. The Features are endless, Bright displays, realistic color out of the box WOW! I was considering an other brand then I saw this in action the winner hands down Samsung Led 8000. I have used it in my business as well. We were able to bring clients in our home have a quiet dinner and in the background playing music via our Smart TV. Then afterwards gave a presentation using Samsung LED 8000 instead on a laptop. The client and family were in aw toggling back and forth from online and the presentation. Not only did the client buy our product but also they are buying the same Samsung. Thank you.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great selling tool

I have had this LED TV for several months now and I cannot tell you how much I love this TV. I upgraded from the LN46A650A1F LCD (46") and WOW what a difference. Don't get me wrong I still love that older LCD TV but the 8000 is so much better when watching HD movies, TV shows and sporting events (football!) and of course video games.
I also love the AllShare, although it would be nice if the TV could just see the share on my PC without the extra software but I will take what I can get. For AllShare to work it does have to be installed and running on your PC. I have this TV connected to my stereo receiver and watching movie's at home is just like being in the movie theater, without the sticky floor. My one issue with this TV is that the remote receiver on the TV is a small area in the lower right hand corner of the screen (red power L.E.D.). If the remote is not pointed at that area then forget it. I think it would have been better by making the frame a little wider along the top or bottom of the TV and have several receivers, that way you would only need to aim the remote in the general direction of the TV. Even with this issue I would still purchase this TV again or maybe just go up to the 65” instead. ;-)
Well let me tell you 1st I did a lot of research on this model when it came to my house set up a snap no problems setting up Qwerty remote pairing 3D glasses bty took 1 hour to charge and the 3D fantastic, 2hours into watching TV Then it happened the SCREEN started to freak out blue /red/yellow could not get the picture then I felt let down by the product I said to myself I got a lemon it does happen ......called the helpdesk they went over couple of reset s still no picture.......ask to speak with a supervisor did a different test it started working good thing i have 1 year warranty and also bought extra 3years after that so for now its a waiting game been watching tv for a couple of hours no problems sound is ok but will buy sound bar
Colors are not bad and is full of features. With one of the thinnest bezels available, on the wall, it almost looks like a floating piece of glass (55 & 60in model). The 8000 has a thinner bezel than the 7000 or 7900 (@ 55in). This is not the case with the 8000 65in. however, the bezel is very think. Smart TV interface can be slow at just navigating and selecting an app. The web browser is slow as well. Navigation cursor for the browser works surprisingly well, however. The blacks could be better but they are the best I have seen with a side lit LED. TV takes a while to boot up fully until you can use the Smart TV portion. TV adjusts brightness way too much when browsing through Smart TV menus and apps. YouTube app is extremely lacking. Samsung bump on the bottom center needs to go! Don't use 3D so I can not comment on it. Hope that helps make your decision a little easier!
Pros: Lightweight, thinest bezel on the market, many usb ports
Cons: Did not meet expectations, tv takes a while to boot up fully, blacks could still be much better, tv adjusts brightness way too much when using menu, samsung bump on the bottom center needs to go!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The TV has great features but the information available on set up, configuration options and troubleshooting is lacking. The user manual is of little value. The TV itself is wonderful but figuring out how to take advantage of all that it offers has been a challenge.
