THE PICTURE IS THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN , VERY CLEAR EVEN ON THE STANDARD CHANNELS. LOVE THE REMOTE , TV CONTROLS ON ONE SIDE AND A KEYBOARD ON THE OTHER !!!!!!!!! TRY IT , YOU'LL LIKE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!

Great TV. Great feature set. Great 3D TV. Samsung App Store is slow and intermittent. Smart Hub is a little sluggish and clunky. Otherwise rating would be 5 stars.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: slow smart hub / app store

Just received my new set and I love this set. I am so happy we purchased this model. We were about to purchase a competitor set but when we looked into the specs, the dimming etc, we fell in love at first site.
We would recommend this set to anyone who is about to purchase a flat screen LCD set. this is the best overall.
Love the features. Only complaint is that I am having difficulty pairing my report as instructed. Will try again closer to the set this time.

So far, I'm enjoying the HDTV's beautiful screen (thanks to finding the "Dynamic" setting}. No problems with any "screen haze". Need to get my son help me with the 3D and other tech features.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, energy saver

I have had my 55D8000 TV for a week now and I'm still impressed every time I look at it. The picture quality is superb, and the lack of the big frame around the outside combine to make this the best TV I have ever seen, let alone owned. Everyone who sees it is amazed, and even my doubting wife is impressed.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, thin frame
