This is the most amazing TV. Love all the features and 3D effects. Looks great! Getting ready to purchase a second TV for the bedroom.

When it comes to video, I am over the top. I have a 1080p projector that throws a 120" image in a media room, and a few months ago I bought another manufacturer's 65" 3D set and six 3D glasses for my living room. Two weeks ago my daughter and I were shopping for a computer and we noticed Samsung's 55" 8000 series. The picture was so amazing that we bought this set the next day, and my other new 65" set is unplugged and unused in my spare room. Honestly, watching 3D programming on this set is breathtaking, the 2D to 3D conversion is nearly as good as the native 3D, and the 2D is better than any other set I have seen! The blacks on this set are unquestionably the best I have seen on any television including plasmas, the colors are as deep and rich as you would expect on an LED, and the brightness of the side-lit LED matches the brightness of the best LCDs.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

This is on of the most amazing T.V.'s I have ever owned. It does more than I could ever possibly use. It was easy o set up and learn how to use. We first bought a 32 in led and then the 55 in led because we like so much. Samsung has done a wonderful job.

Bought this Tv to replace a Vizio 42 inch. I was blown away!! Super clear and bright! The 3D needs some adjusting to get the the effect you want. Had no problem connecting it to Wifi. It picked it right away and did a software update on it's own. Have use the netflix app and works great! Just need to figure out how to get it to play netflix through my home speaker system. The TV speakers work very well, good sound with lots of options and settings.

This is my second Samsung TV. I purchased my first Samsung Plasma a little over five years ago and the picture is a awesome today as it was when I took it out of the box. It was because of this that I chose to buy another Samsung TV, and this surely doesn't disappoint. My new TV is amazing! The picture on the TV actually looks better now that I took it home and wired it (with monster cables) then it did on display at the store. The 3d (@ 240 Hz) is incredible even if the original picture or video game isnt projected in 3d. I honestly couldn't be happier and am so happy I went with another Samsung. What an awesome product!! Thanks Samsung.
