voice command & hand command are a joke now the internet quit working and i have to install a download to make it work.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, need to buy another remote just to type on the web

3D does not work

Finally bought a 3d dvd but it wont play and Samsung refered me to the manual, still does not work. My DVD player is a Samsung bd 6700.
Cons: no 3d

The reason I spent the extra money and got this tv was because of the internet option. I am so dissapointed in the internet. I simply cannot get around on the internet. Why is it so simple to get around on the internet on my little iphone but its so difficult on the huge expensive tv. The internet freezes up. It will not play tv episodes. The internet I have is a very fast speed and so I am confused as to why this tv internet will not work properly. And one more thing is that I think the remote drains the batteries fast.

Great TV on Paper

I've owned this television for roughly half of a year. The picture lives up to the hype. It has many capabilities and is certainly one of the cutting edge sets on the market.
However, there is a major concern with this model. I've experience major reliability issues since buying it. On many occasions, the television will turn itself on and off repeatedly. With this, it will also be completely unresponsive.
It's a great tv on paper and hanging on the wall at the store. But I cannot recommend it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, design, many inputs

A LED TV? - Yes, A SMART TV? No!

As a LED TV this is a great product, but as a SMART TV, this product is really bad.
1) The built in web browser cannot run many sites as we cannot install plug-ins like Adobe Flash or Sliverlight.
2)The Youtube app does not allow login, so cannot watch my playlist and does not have a QWERTY keyboard
3)Does not have send from PC to TV options ( cannot send a link from PC to TV, so end up keying in the URL using the remote
4) no QWERTY remote provide, standard remote for LED TV cannot work for SMART TV.
5) For a TV that cost so much, the sound quality is quite bad.

I own a 55c800,46c800,and 50c7000 plasma, i become i big fan of 3D tvs and samsung made the best,i purchase 55D8000 last week and let me tell you this: the image is difereces between C8000 and D8000:
1.C8000 panel is bright image is perfec, D800 panel is not brigth its more like the olds LCD panel style than last year LED panels type. 2.C8000 steel frame beatifull, D8000 chrome frame but poor quality- its more like plastic chrome not steel chrome. 3.C8000 perfect backligh can not see any ligth on edges, D8000 on dark room you can see the edge ligths on panel seems like clouds when dark images at the edges.
I can't make the querty control Sync with the D8000 tv yet, i have several days trying with no luck, this is not good.
Its a hughe diference on images between C8000 and D8000 I prefer C8000 its brighter image more like sparklyn image.

The Pros of D8000: Smart Tv with web browser (but cant use them because of the querty remote) Can sync and play my music, pics and videos from my Pc, C8000 never work with my PC share.
