This tv is amazing. The colors seems to pop out at you. The bezel seems to disappear especially in dark scenes. Very thin. The sound of the speakers was surprisingly good compared to other models I've owned. Smart hub is nice feature. This tv replace a Sony ex720 tv which just didn't have the picture quality that my D8000 has. This is the best tv I have owned to date. Only complaint I have is as of now the tv didn't come with 3d glasses but a voucher which I submitted online so i have to wait to test the 3d.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

After a few months of on again, off again, desire to purchase a new TV, I decided to pull the trigger on the D8000. It is flat out, one of the best TV's I've ever seen. The blacks are extremely deep and the picture is light years better than my 5+ year old LCD. Watching the Masters, Formula 1 Malaysia and a wide selection of HD TV over the weekend was pretty awesome. My only very small complaint is the glossy screen causes a bit of reflection in my space if the shades are all open. It isn't enough to really lower my opinion of this TV and it is definitely worthy of 5 stars.

Worth The Wait!

This is my first LED purchase ever. I was waiting for my 13 year old set to die and it finally did. Boy was the wait worth it! I absolutely love this TV and the 3D is amazing. I was surprised at how easy it was to hook up to my HD cable box and Blu-Ray player. I agree with other reviewers that the sound is not comparable to it's picture, but home surround systems are pretty affordable and so worth it when you have a TV of this caliber. I highly recommend it. You will not want to leave your couch.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, thin, quick & easy set up
Cons: sound not as great as the picture

If you want to waste a lot of time checking out TVs, check Samsung last. If you want the best you will by Samsung. Best picture, performance and value on the market.

Poorly written instructions

To install an app that requires the use of a login name or password, there are either no instructions or they do not make any common sense. I gave up on Facebook but Skype eventually worked after hours of trial and error. I wish they would make the CEO successfully install these apps with only the aid of the manual, then changes would happen. The geeks who write the instructions must believe consumers understand their proprietary terms and names. There is no reference guide or step-by-step instructions to apps.
