Over all ***** giving by me, just wish this TV should came with the remote like the 9000 model will make this become 100% instead 99.9%.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Remote has to be replaced/upgraded

The other face of the remote works fine, but the qwerty keyboard doesn't connect or communicate with the TV fast enough. Samsung should develop a more responsive remote system and send us the upgraded replacement for free.
The TV is perfect as it is.

Great TV but . . . .

The is a great TV in terms of picture quality. However, the remote to nagivate the Internet is cumbersome and slow responding. But most importantly, it lacks the Amazon Instant Video streaming app. So for Amazon Prime account holders -- UABLE to use the TV to stream movies from Amazon because the Smart Hub is missing the app :(

Did lots of comparison shopping between Samsung TVs and other brands - settled on the UN55D8000YF. Glad I did. Came bundled with a blu-ray DVD player and 3D glasses - great price - great value!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, lots of ports to add equipment!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was happy to spend the money on a product that delivered! I'm ready to buy another one as soon as I have my MAN CAVE built!
The only thing I would suggest are better BUILT IN SPEAKERS...

I've had this TV over a year now and I have enjoyed the picture and the quality from day one. I had the picture professionally adjusted after 100 hours of use and I have had no problems with the set at all. 3D movies are fun, but not the main reason I got the TV. Clarity and color of the picture are phenomenal. I think it's a great buy.

Great TV...... Cant beat the picture. I have had this TV for 6 months now and truly enjoy it. Everything from internet to 3D movies. Even the newly released TVs dont show any improvement over this one.
