i was looking around to buy a tv, i never tought about samsung but when i looked at samsungs 55' 8000 series i just could not belive the desing of this tv, after looking at it every other tv looked old to me...if there's one way to discribe this tv i would just say that its amazing...i just could not wait to buy it... i just wish i could get more 3d glasses cause it only comes with 2..i guess ill have to wait to buy those...
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, cool desing, cool remote
Cons: not enough 3d glasses

I wish the applications were easier to find, but for the value and quality of this product, it's easy to overlook that and just LOVE it.

Smarter than expected

We have been using a 4 year old Samsung 52 inch TV that worked well but we wanted to change to the LED type for lower power draw and lighter weight thin case. We liked the picture on the new 55 inch Smart TV and thought the 3D feature was not something we would use much. We also didn't pay a lot of attention to the other smart features included in the system when we were shopping.
After getting the Tv home and installed we were amazed at all that it does, the fantastic picture, and the assorted extra features included. We had not paid any attention to the 3D channels on Direct TV until we owned this set but find there are some shows we really enjoy in 3D. We are still learning how to use everything but it is my nature to buy something that is beyond my needs so I can grow into it. I have not found a TV that I like better.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: price
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was amazed when this TV was delivered. I am used to high end products, but this set blew me away. The picture is perfect. The features far exceeded my expectations. It was a little pricey but more than worth every penny. Could not be more satisfied.

Great TV love everything about it, remote, and apps.
Dont like the way the 240hz makes movies look but all you have to do is turn ut off.
