This TV has an amazing picture quality, very user friendly,
my PS 3 works amazing on the TV - will recommend this TV
A bit disappointed in the sound but all TV's do not have great sound - an LG soundbar will be just great, so will be investing in a LG sound bar - will work well with my LG TV

Over all The TV picture is great but the hand held pointing device is very unstable. This make all the online feature difficult to enjoy.
The sound system is average and when connected to a sound theater system the tv sound lags the other sound system. Not a major issue but should be addressed.
Again overall 3D works great and TV picture is Excellent.
Pros: Style/Design, picture

LG 55" 3D TV

I just bought this 3D TV a week ago. I was amazed how light it was when picking it up. My old 36 " TV weighs twice as much. I love the ability to connect to the internet, but I still need to determine whether the apps are really that great. I subscribed to Netflix and I will probably discontinue the premium channals on my cable because they are so expensive. The 3D is awesome but I wish it was easier to find real 3D videos. I have a 3D Blue Ray player but blue rays are not in 3D and it just converts them to low grade 3D. However, it is much better than what I had, a TV I bought in 1999.

Good Picture Bad Sound

The picture is great, but the sound is not very loud. I have trouble hearing even when I sit direct in front of the set with the volume at 100%.
Also, the set up documentation does not show how to hook up a surround sound system. Nor can I find the ports for the plugs from my surround system to the TV.
Pros: picture
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What can be said. This TV is great. The best feature of this TV besides the quality is the Cinema 3d and the apps - espescially, Netflix.
The 3d is amazing and the glasses are cheap.
My only regret is I should have bought the 65" :).

Read lots of reviews, really looked forward to new TV purchase. Brought it home, hung it, and watched one great 3D surf movie. Thought this was the best purchase ever!! NEXT DAY, TV WOULDN'T TURN ON. What an incredible let down. Service scheduled for 3 days later. So for now we have a beautiful, non-functioning TV. We'll see how the service goes.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

so far a great tv, great value , easy set up, looks great, love the features, kids love 3d, wish i could upgrade flash , all and all love it, still learning
