the best TV ever, in quality picture,

the best TV ever, in quality picture, i have been very happy with the quality of the picture, The 3D is great, and the HD channels are out of the world, the internet navigator is not the best one, it does not support flash player, you tube mmmmm well i got a computer. hulu, net flik and some other applications are great.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, 3 d tv

Great Picture but Smart Features are poor

This TV has a great picture. Also a very good over the air tuner for local HD broadcasts. It pulled in more stations than all the other major brands tested against. Also it is passive 3D. Like the Smart Remote Feature. Plenty of hookup options VGA- HDMI etc. They are the reasons why I selected this TV.
Now the BAD
The Internet Browser is not up-gradable to anything
that is useful - does not support Latest JAVA or
Flash Players so your video from the internet is extremely limited. If you are serious about streaming video from the internet plan on hooking a computer up to this TV. For LG Smart is not VERY SMART unless you are only interested in the apps that come with this product.
Now the BAD

Great TV

I've had this TV for about two weeks and it is fantastic! The picture is sharp and bright. The 3D is great and the cheap 3D glasses are a big plus. You can also use the 3D glasses you get at the movie theaters if you want. I was told to get an additional sound system since the speakers are small and face the rear of the TV, but the sound is satisfactory the way it is set up. A great value!

be aware .. the tv though it has the ability for web browsing, IT DOES NOT support flash at all. i was very disapointed. I have found out also that the new series for 2012 will support flash, and LG unfortunetly will not upgrade the previous models software. what a bummer. i have bought 2 LG this summer a 47 lw5700 and a 55 lw5600 . also be aware that there is quiet a bit of draging/ lagging on the picture.

Awesome TV

This was an awesome choice, i looked at a lot of TV's and checked a lot of reviews and consumer reports. Purchased the LG 55LW5600 HDTV with 3D, wasn't sure how i would like the 3D but we love it. the picture is so clear everyone says it feels like we are right there in the scene. The Smart TV works great cuts out a lot of trying to figure out which input to use. The wireless was effortless and we were watching movie from Netflix in minutes. Best of all we got lots of features at a reasonable price.

Great TV

Have owned this TV since May 10th and the Picture is fantastic. Looked at some other 3-D TV's but they required "active" glasses. The LG doesn't and the 3-D effect is as good or better. Find it a little clumsy to access the features but not a real problem.
The "point & click" remote helps quite a bit.

Best Investment Ever

We absolutely love out new LG 55" 3D LED TV. We paid full price for it but it was well worth it. We got the LG surround sound with it and a 3D Blu-Ray player. We love the way it takes 2D programs and can convert them into 3D. I like this feature best for watching hockey games in HD. It is as good as having box seats. It is full of features and takes a while to get use to it, but the remote wand makes it very easy to navigate. I also like the way that it not only came with 4 pairs of 3D glasses, but that we can also use regular polaroid sun glasses or the souvenir pairs from IMAX or regular 3D movie theaters and that we don't need to purchase expensive pairs that use batteries. The fact that it is an LED TV is a bonus too, in that it uses a lot less energy and is therefore a greener choice. I can't say enough good things about our new LG 3D TV.

The 2D and 3D experience with this tv is amazing, great picture in both formats. The passive glasses are a big step up from the "active" (expensive) glasses. One app that I wish the tv had was hulu, or a silmilar app.
