I upgraded from 42" plasma and what a difference. This tv is fantastic. Easy to set up, even the wifi was a breeze, it took me less than 30 minutes and i was sitting down watching my favourite shows. The usb ports are an added bonus, just plug a flashdrive in and watch or listen to your pictures, music or movies
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: built in speakers, needs more apps

After months of reading about TV'S we decided to go with Samsung. We were wondering if we were doing the right thing so I called my brother who has owned a Professional audio and video store since 1977. I asked him what brand TV he would buy and he said "Samsung". That sealed the deal and we are very happy with our purchase. The picture quality is Awesome, the sound is very good. The picture looks to be 3D at times but it is not. You could not ask for a sharper picture. Samsung has sold us we will always buy Samsung from now on. We always owned Sony's but Samsung blows Sony out of the water! Great TV Samsung. Thank you for the high quality and keep it up!

This is the Best Yet

I have owned Samsung TV's in the past, but this one is the Best Yet. I was told it was going to be to big for my rec room, which is 16x12, but it looks great. The picture is fantastic. I had a Samsung Surround Sound on my previous Samsung DLP TV, and it works great on this new one also. Great Sound.. Football games and Nascar races make me feel like I am right there. Now I have to start using all the Apps that came with it. A++++++++

While this product has GREAT features, the D6000 series DOES NOT allow the use of an optional keyboard which I purchased and had to return. The "built in" keyboard is clumsy and difficult to use. The documentation that came with it wasn't much help. You had to "play around" to get it to work.
I also found the sound quality is poor. Because of the sleek design, they had to put the small speakers in the back of the unit which means the sound has to bounce off the wall. Overall it is a BEAUTIFUL TV with great picture quality. I am going to buy another one for the bedroom.

Outstanding Picture

This TV has more features than I have seen in any other brand. Excellent picture, sound is better than I expected. This TV is THIN! Never seen anything like it. Had a bulky crt projection before this, and this is a big change. A bit pricey, but it will be worth it if I don't have any problems with it. Samsung has come a long way in quality from what I have seen. Very satisfied.

Really Great TV

So far, I'm extremely pleased. Coupled w/Direct TV broadcasting, this TV has an outstanding picture. Unbelievable how much of an improvement this is over my 2007-model Samsung 1080p LCD. The only ding I would give it is the poor sound quality. Just accept the fact going in that you will have to either get a sound bar or use a true surround system and receiver. So I'll give it 4.5 stars because it's not perfect considering that fact.

Cons: horrible sound quality

Beautiful picture, but...

I love the picture on this TV. It is vibrant and bright. We can acutally see "night scenes" during the day with the sun shining on the screen. We weren't able to with our last TV. My complaints are about the sound and movement of the picture on the TV. The sound, at times, seems distorted. Even when it is at a modest setting (10 or 11). Every once in a while, the screen makes the shows seem jerky, like a start and stop motion of the people. Not sure how to describe this in more detail but it can be a little disconcerting.
