Good TV but not great

Without built in wifi is a big no no. TV is starting to make funny noise after 6 mo of gentle use, hope it's nothing major.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, no built in wifi

This is my second Samsung, just got it 3 weeks ago. I have a 40 inch LCD that we moved to the upstairs den. I wanted to get a larger screen for the lower den, which is a large room. I was limited in my choice of sizes because the entertainment center is built into a corner. Well this set fit perfectly into the space, we used a full motion mount and it fit like a glove. This is an amazing set with loads of features, awesome picture, Blu-rays are outstanding, like I said our other Samsung has been perfect, 5 years now. Without getting technical, this TV can do all I need it to do and more.I didn't want the 3 D so this is a fantastic set with quality of Samsung. I actually ordered it on Black Friday because they were sold out, but price was unreal, worth the wait. Great TV for great price from a great company. I gave it 4 stars because you have to download the owners manual, which is 318 pages. You can also acess this info from your remote once your connected to the internet. I just prefer the printed page in my hands, personal preference. Regardless, so glad I pulled the trigger on this one.

I have been very impressed with this TV. I wish the sound quality was a little better, but what can you expect with a thin tv, you can only do so much in the speaker world. These thin tv's you just need to get a sound system to go with it.

bought the 55 inch as my first venture into the LED smart tv market after making extensive comparisons with others and i have no complaints. the color and images are remarkable and notably different from LCD images. The web apps stream flawlessly and i'll be getting the bigger screen model next.

I could not be anymore happier than the price on this 55 led set. Its style, picture, and functionality what got me. I upgraded from lcd so difference its night and day.
