Have had TV for roughly three months and am completely satisfied. Samsung performance on a budget.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: wireless adapter not included

I was really comprehensive to buy a 55 inch TV. My wife talked me into it. I found that my fears were unfounded. This TV is awesome. Easy to use, hooks up to my satellite system really fast. The setup was very easy. I just love my new Samsung TV. The HD quality is out of this world. The only setback is the speakers..THe sound quality needs to improve. Other then that, Would highly recommend this TV.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, the speaker system needs to be enhanced.

Great TV, no web browser

Fantastic picture quality. Could potentially replace my Roku box if they had Amazon Video On Demand.
Really annoyed that I had to buy a dongle to enable wireless (essentially it's "wireless capable", meaning they have a USB port, and you buy their USB wireless dongle for $80USD) but once you get over that, what really annoyed me was no web browser.
Why is that important? Not to surf the web, but for some shows Hulu+ will redirect you to the broadcaster's website (ie The Mentalist) if you access Hulu+ on your PC. This isn't an option in the app, so if you wanted those shows, you need a web browser.
Come on, Samsung.... Firmware update???
I wrote I would not recommend this to a friend, not due to picture quality, or range of HDMI interfaces etc, that's all great, but my friends would want a browser to watch web content from the TV.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: no web browser
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unit worked out of box. Easy to setup but ran into a small couple of issues that took over night to fix.

Love our Samsung TV

We absolutely love our Samsung LED Smart TV. The picture, color quality and images are just fabulous. The apps are fun and easy to use and we’re learning new things about our TV, everyday. My husband and I had been researching TV’s for about a year and finally decided to go with the Samsung LED 6000 Smart TV and we’re so glad that we did our homework and went with this TV. My only concern was the sound, I was worried that we would need to buy a sound bar or fancy speaker system, but the sound is actually quite good. For some extra sound we have some fancy computer speakers that we simply plug into the TV when we’re watching a movie or a game.
I would highly recommend this TV to everyone!
