Poor product

After one week the product stopped working. Took three weeks to repair. Only worked one day before the main board went again. Now I have to wait another two weeks to get it repaired yet again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got a great deal on this cook top. I've wanted an Induction for a long time. The cook in the house was skeptical, didn't like loosing her favorite pan. But we discovered we had more magnetic pans than we thought. Only had to purchase one replacement. After several weeks the cook is in love with the cook top, really likes the way foods cook in the pots and pans. Happy wife, Happy life. I'm happy.

I like this cooktop; however, it is very hard to find pots/pans that work well with all burners. 60% of the pots/pans I have will only work with the smallest burners (bottom left/right) and are a lot bigger than those burners but too small to work with the other burners. The controls are very sensitive and placing items on top of the controls will cause problems. Takes a while to get used to.

When buying an induction cooktop, know what you??re getting yourself into. Special cookware is required. If a magnet will not stick to your current pots and pans, you must buy new ones. Once you have all the right gear, it??s well worth the cost. It cooks fast and evenly with lots of control over the temperature. You can have a boiling pot of water (which doesn??t take long) and the surrounding surface will be barely warm. For me, it??s the happy medium between a microwave and conventional cooktop.

This cooktop looks absolutely exquisite and stunning with my granite counter tops. Its quality and functionality is perfect! I could not be more pleased with this appliance and its performance. I love, love, love it! I am so happy I chose this Whirlpool product.
