The burners get very hot very quickly and I love that! hated sitting around forever watching water boil! I love the design and the sleekness of it. For the most part it's easy to clean.

This cooktop is one of the best I have ever owned. It is easy to use, has consistent flame, and is easy to clean. What more could you want?

This product is so easy to clean and consequently, looks great all the time! I love having 5 burners when I was used to cooking on only two that worked. Not that I do that often as there are just two of us in the house. But, when I need that many, I have them! YAY! It is also very easy to use. I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely disappointed

This cooktop was installed in the new home I purchased in June 2012. After 16-18 months from new, we began to experience intermittent issues with the spark control: with the burners in the OFF position, the cooktop would start sparking some or all burners. If we unplugged/re-plugged, the issue stopped. 3 months ago, the issue surfaced again, but now all burners would spark CONSTANTLY (again, all knobs in OFF position). We now have to keep the unit unplugged and lit with a match. Worse still, the seal around the large burner control knob is gummed up can no longer be used. Very disappointed to have these issues after 3 yrs of mild use. Research carefully before you buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Range

This is a great range for the price. Nice design. Good performance. The only nitpick is an odd gap around the perimeter. The installation guide says its normal but it looks like a place for grime to collect.

With the gas cooktop I cook quicker and is easy to clean. I have no regrets with my purchase. Stainless Steel is good quality.

I LOVE my new Whirlpool 36" gas cooktop! I love having 5 burners. My huge pots and pans actually fit without crowding! Control placement works great for me and is safe for my kids who cook. We had gas for years, inherited electric in our new home and got used to it....but...there's nothing like gas, so we paid to install gas in our new home, and I'm so glad we did! We seriously considered induction cooktops, but with a house full of kids who cook, I felt the control with gas (what you see is what you get: big flame = big heat/little flame = low heat is intuitive) would better suit our needs. The cooktop is beautiful. My only concern is that it stays that way! The grates are really nice as well.
