Now I'm cooking with gas!

I had to pick among a selection for appliances for a new house. This was the basic cooktop. It cooks very well. It cleans fairly easily with window cleaner--as suggested by Whirlpool. The black color shows fingerprints.

Functionality is great!

New features for me are the simmer burner and power burner. I love the simmer burner when you don't have time to watch something constantly. The power burner saves time when you need a pot of boiling water for noodles, macaroni, etc. I would prefer the knobs to be at the side or front for cleanliness. The knobs can get splattered on from every burner.

Great burner but poor lableing

I chose this burner for my brand new home and it works great. I am very disappointed, however, with how quickly the labeled areas wore off (less than three months).

We are very pleased with our new range top

We were replaced a thirty year old range top. This unit was very comparable in size and went in with little difficulty. We are pleased with its attractiveness easy of using. We particularly like that you can turn it to "low" and not have to worry about it going off and releasing gas.Great product.

I've had this for about 6 months and am overall pleased. I installed it myself, replacing and old and worn out stovetop. I like that it has 5 burners with the power burner for quickly boiling water. The surface under the cast iron grates is easy to clean as are the grates. I have one design suggestion - it would be nice to be able to re-configure the location of the burners. I would prefer to have the simmer burner in the from instead of the middle back, switching it with the power burner. The only complaint I have is that the burner knobs are not the best quality and break when taking them off when cleaning. I broke two which were promptly replaced when I called customer service.

A Truly Great Cooktop!

We bought this over a year ago and just had it installed. It's amazing how quickly our food is prepared because it cooks so fast. Other than the grates moving a little too easily, we love it!

This cooktop came with our new home along with a double electric oven. It does a great job. Now that we are settled in the new home and the holidays are approaching I'm looking forward to lots of great recipes. Sauces, sauces. You can't do those well on an electric. It comes apart easily for cleaning and cleans up nice. Not much else to say.
