Decent cooktop - Exhorbitant repair costs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooktop worked as expected but when I needed repairs the cost quoted by Whirlpools factory service was exhorbitant. I dumped the cook top & bought another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
