I have had three of these style printers and it has satisfied every need I have presented to it. Due to business travel, I take this printer every where I go. It has been in more states and Canada than most Americans!!
It is a Great All-In-One Device!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchase no problems

For my windows 8 it was not possible for me to install MFC...... and I had to call Brothers.
I purchased a new hard drive as back up and installed windows 7 I tried to install disc to my new MFC.... and my MFC Fax
it was not possible Now I have to call Brothers again. All is to complicated.

Fantastic printer for the price

I needed a 11.5" x 17" printer for AutoCAD drawings, and this printer fills the bill. Print quality is good for an inkjet printer, and print speed is reasonable for an all in one unit. Controls are easy to use and intuitive. The only feature I would like is an envelope printing mode that wouldn't require reconfiguration of the paper feed.
All in all, this a great printer for a small business, and there is nothing else in this price range with all the features this printer offers.

Brother MFC-J825DW

I bought the Brother MFC-J825DW printer in January 2014 and I have had to have the paper grab wheels replaced. They are again pulling multiple sheets of paper. I am very unhappy with this printer. I would not buy it again or recommend it to anyone. Off to the repair store with it......the only positive is that it is under warranty.

scan quality

When I scan a few letter size pages to email, it is so large that I cannot then email it 4MB for 6 typed pages.
I need a way to reduce the scan data size but I cannot find how to do that. Please send instructions.

More than I expected

Love the dual paper trays and the large format. Great flexibility and it is reasonably fast and quiet. I have not done enough printing to evaluate ink usage, however, it appears to be better than my previous all in one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I LOVE my MFC-J6710DW! It's got a great 11x17 print option that I use for making posters and Newsletters for work.
All the options are wonderful. I especially like scanning through my lan connection.

We have an earlier model in the office and it doesn't do half the things this one does (I'm trying to get them to purchase this newer model).
The only problem that I have is that the color isn't as intense as I'd want in a inkjet printer. I KNEW this when I was getting into buying it. For everything else I wanted I took this into consideration.
I would recommend this to a friend!
