Prints nicely, scans nicely. But why did you arange the buttons with Fax on top. Default should be copy or scan.
It really takes a loooong time for the printer to re-set itself after copying. Why is that? What is its little brain trying to think about so slowly? That wait is a real pain if, say i make a test print then want to adjust color, size, etc and make another test print. That part is really annoying.

This is a perfect printer for working in remote areas of the country. It has all the functions needed and works well. The only thing it needs is printer ink to last longer.

I prefer the save feture of my Brother printer over my Office-Jet HP-8500 All-In-One printer but I prefer the Office Jet HP-8500 All-in-One printers ability to scan two sided documents automaticly crop them using both the feeder or bed scan and its ability to properly allign the document on the page.

Great Printer

I previously had the MFC-6490CW and when it had printing problems we replaced it with this printer. I really liked my old printer and this one is similar but it also prints double-sided. Which is a big plus! The other selling point was that the printer can print on paper up to 11 x 17".
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quality product. I had one problem with it but Brother replaced it with a refurshibed machine and all is well. I will stick with Brother with all my coping needs

I specifically bought this printer because it is the only printer in its price range and size (compact enough for home use) that will print and scan 11" X 17" documents. I use it for music parts and it enables me to make 8.5" X 11" two page parts without a taped seam----I just print the two pages onto a single 11" X 17" page. It works very well and I commend Brother for making a printer of this type available for home use.

What an all in one!

I love my new MFC 6710-DW. It's fast, quiet, and everything really works great. I lave the large scanning bed, and 2 sides 11 X 17 printing. I've recommended this printer to several associates of mine.
