EASE OF USE

I have two of these machines. One for my home office and one for work office. I need the versiility for 11 X 17 black and white and color for 8.5 X 11. Machine operates without complicated procedures to follow

Great Printer

So far, I'm very pleased with this printer. I love that it has 11" x 17" capability, separate color cartridges. Duplex and dual paper trays in one reasonable priced package. So far it has worked very well too.
My only complaint is that I have not yet been able to get it to print envelopes, so I have to keep sending them to an HP printer in another room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Product

I previously owned a high-end HP All-In-One. I had issues with the scanner quality, product construction, ink usage and software support. NONE of those issues exist with this new AIO. It scans perfectly saving me time and effort. It operates perfectly the first time and delivers what is expected. I haven't had the machine long enough to judge the quality of its rollers and other mechanical parts. So far, after 6 months of use, I really enjoy owning this machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good overall printer

Very functional MF printer. The overall scanning, faxing and printer work very well and the wireless setup is easy. The construction quality of the paper tray leave a lot to be desired, they fell like they are very cheaply made and and requires delicate handling when filling with paper. The printer has lost connection with the wireless network on multiple occasions but is not a problem to reconnect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very good printer if a bit slow

The printer does a very good job.
However, some jobs take just forever.
Cancelling a job is often nearly impossible.
I would like to be able to put a file on a usb drive and update the printer.
The update using a cable does not work for me.
As for improvement, the ability to print 13"x 19" half size architectural prints would really rock. I would like an option to print as cheap as possible in black and white. The ability to press a cancel job button would also be great. I would also like to preview jobs and pick and choose pages to print.
However, some jobs take just forever.

very slow at printing envelopes

Great printer, but it is the slowest printer I've ever owned when it comes to printing batches of envelopes. One day I had to print 350 envelopes. It took 5 hours. No matter what setting I used I could not get the envelopes to print any quicker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
