This is the second tablet that I have owned of this kind (unfortunately, I dropped the first numerous times and broke it so it has a good shock value to it!) but I was so impressed with the features and the quality of the product that I have bought a second one and will continue to buy Samsung products in the future. As a matter of fact, I have a Samsung Smart TV also.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

It is one of my nicer tablets, but an iPad killer it is not.
In less than 6 months, the battery life has deteriorated to half to a third the run time. I have older iPads that have better battery life.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, battery drains too fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would rate this as equal or better than the mac IPad. I own both. What I enjoy most is the easy to view screen and the user friendly settings. I would most likely recommend this item to my friends.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

This tablet works just lilke my Samsung phone and that's a good thing! Haven't had any problems so far.

Good product; lack of update support

Although the Android Lollipop update was released a "long" time ago, Samsung still hasn't released an update for this tablet. There are rumors that a 5.0.2 update is in the works, this is not even the latest version of Lollipop.
At the present rate, Android 6 will be released before Samsung releases something that is several levels out of date.
It's a shame that an otherwise great device isn't being actively supported by Samsung. And they can't blame this on a carrier, because the wi-fi only model is also still waiting.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: no active support for android updates.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
