Love this note pad. Excellent. Not one problem. It's quick, Great screen, multi screen so helpful.

Versatile Tablet

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 2014 Edition is very versatile. I use it for note taking and checking email for work. It easily syncs with my various email accounts to track my calendar events as well. For personal use, it's great for video streaming. Having worked with the tablet for about six weeks now, I'm discovering that I've only scratched the surface for what this tablet can do. The Samsung owners' site helps uncover the amazing wealth of features!

I have been more than happy with my purchase. The note was easy to set up and get going, and the performance has been great. Updates have been so far reliable. I just wish Samsung would release more accessories / keyboards for this tablet.

I have been so happy with this purchase. Almost bought an iPad. So glad I chose this instead. It does everything I hoped it would do and there's so much more I'm learning. Love it!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: a little pricey.

I really love the S pen. It is a great feature and works like a gem. I only have the WiFi version but it works great. Battery life could be better though. Seems like it dies in a few hours when being used even with lowered screen brightness. Overall I am very satisfied with it as is my wife. We purchased two tablets.

Cons: poor battery life

I have not owned a samsung product before and this is by far the best product I have. I currently use an iphone and I am deciding if I should change my phone to be a samsung product. The quality is great. I use my tablet for everything from taking notes to killing time in social networks. It's also great with music and there are many apps from google play that are just great. I have recommended my galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition to all my friends!! :)

I've been wanting a notebook for a while now. The better ones were too expensive for me to purchase. This one was a gift from my boyfriend. I like the size of the screen and the thin sleek design. It's not too heavy or bulky. I have downloaded several apps to use. It came with several already loaded that I don't think I will ever use. I have uninstalled a couple of them but when I turn off my notebook and then later turn it back on the two apps that I uninstalled were still on it. If there is a secret to getting them off and keeping them off i have not found it yet. I'm still getting to know a lot of the features with this notebook so I'm sure I will have more to add later on about this review. For now I like the notebook just fine.

Lots of great software included

After several months of ownership, I am still learning about some of the great software programs included with my 2014 10.1 Note. The pen works well, battery life is good, screen looks great (though pretty much unusable in sunlight). Intuitive, comfortable. 32 GB memory is good and can be doubled, and that works for me. Appreciate the 50 GB Dropbox for 2 years, very useful. Would wish for something to read a greater variety of video files, and sometimes, if I've been doing too much repetitive movement and my hands hurt, I find it's not terribly comfortable to press in the pen's button without lifting the pen too high up (and when lifted too high, it doesn't work, so that's the problem). Worth the extra money if you're planning to use the pen features. Would be great for a student, I would think, especially if it's in lieu of a laptop and you're carrying it around all day. I know some grad students who are able to avoid printing off reams of hard copy articles and write in comments directly on the screen; very useful.
