l bought the tablet for primarily school use; taking notes in science and math classes is much easier with handwriting, and it's also a lot harder to lose those notes with how easily they can be backed up on the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. The tablet has snappy performance in every note-taking app I've used (Papyrus, LectureNotes, Evernote, and Samsung's stock program) and the battery life scoffs at three two hour classes of use.
Occasionally I do run into some jumpiness with more demanding apps or multiple apps at once, but it's rare and clears up quickly. All in all, l'm extremely happy with the price / performance of my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, responsive, great resolution
Cons: gets heavy after a while, occasional stuttering

Wonderful hardware, a wee bit too many extra programs

The note 10.1 is arguably the best 10" android tablet on the market today. The Samsung processor is speedy, both cameras work well and the S-Pen option makes it easy to write on the tablet. The only thing I could complain about would be the added value programs that I do not use. They may be useful, but for me they are essentially extra processes running in background on my tablet.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I love my Samsung tablet. It's fast and vibrant. It does everything I need it to do with barely a hiccup. The sound is decent and clear.
The WiFi isn't the greatest and I sporadically loose connection at times. The tablet is too expensive for what you get and the battery life is terrible.
Overall I do love this tablet and I prefer it over all the other tablets I've had and have.

I have had quite a few tablets from various other brands. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 2014 edition is by far my favorite. It is so much faster, smoother, and Samsung has been keeping it up to date with the newest versions of android.
Multiwindow is amazing. It allows me to watch a video while taking notes with the S-Pen.
This tablet is just great for work and play.

So I have liked this tablet, I use it for work and personal use. On the other hand after the last update some of my apps have been acting a bit strange at times before that no complaints, I hope a fix to some of these issues happens soon. Over all the design is great speed is good, the multitasking feature is great would like to see the multitasking of the pro in this one but what can you do. Also would like to see more videos on the other things that you can do with this device y have reaserched and with nother much luck.

I enjoy my purchase very much just have had an issue with the wi-fI keeping conested and constantly scans for new networks and has issues with authentication of my router. I have had to do factory reset twice and still find that I have issues with this

Great Features Used as Drawing Tablet

I had bought this recently to use as a portable drawing tablet and to play with games. Comparing the sensitivity to an high-end drawing tablet, it's just as sensitive. It's the perfect size to fit into my cross-body purse and light enough to carry anywhere with me. It did sometimes feel like it gets a little hot on the hands, but it's still functioning perfectly fine. I'm quite pleased with this note.

I have had my Note for around a week now and I love it so far. Perfect for taking notes in class, recording lectures, or playing around in my spare time.
