I LOVE LOVE LOVE my galaxy tablet. I'm attached to a scrapbook so this tablet was the only option for me. I used to swear by my iPhone, but once I switched to Samsung I became a customer for life!!!!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Too big

Great tablet, let down by terrible battery and extremely s-l-o-w charging.
I don't know what happened, but this should never have been launched without sorting out the battery & charging problems. If the battery is low and you plug it into charge, the battery will continue to go down if you try to use the tablet.
I've found the only way to charge it to 100% overnight is to power down the device fully, but that means that I can't use the alarm feature.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: battery life could be longer, very slow to charge

I got this to replace my Galaxy tab that I have been using for the past 4 years.
This new version is by far a step up in performance and features , plus the display WOW.
Speed of this is just spectacular , can't seam to put it down.
Mirror projecting to my new Samsung F8000 65" TV is by far the most impressive feature so far.
My wife uses a IPAD but that even with the apple TV doesn't even come close.
I have had nothing but fun and full enjoyment from my new Galaxy note 2014 Edition tablet.

Dual processors, HD display, stylus pen is awesome. Great 10.1 screen size. If you don'the turn on the power saving feature, the battery drains quickly. Good value for the money,

My First Tablet

I bought this product specifically to bring to professional seminars and continuing education classes. I needed to replace the hard copy notebooks that they used to hand out; instead now we receive pdf files ahead of time and need to provide our own reader. But I also wanted to take notes right on the pdf document during the seminar. I compared this tablet with the digitizer pen to other tablets that would do the same thing using a non-digitized stylus. While this product was a bit more expensive it was worth it for the digitizer. I shopped around for pdf reader/editor apps, but in the end the preloaded pdf reader was all that I needed and the easiest to use. It worked great, exactly what I was looking for and then some. I took my notes and uploaded the annotated pdfs to my desktop without any issues. I also use this for business travel to receive emails and read or lightly edit word documents, spread sheets etc. The display is fantastic and the overall product is leaps and bounds faster than anything I need it to do. The multi-task functions are good, but could be better if I could personalize which apps are available. The size is just small enough for a tablet and at the same time just big enough for reading and editing documents. Web browsing is a snap (I only have the wi-fi version). The only negatives I can think of are: the sound is a bit weak from the speakers; the overall cost is a bit high; and Samsung Service is a bit slow (had to register it three times and I'm still waiting for the "perks" for buying this model). But overall I still give this 5 stars. If you have the budget and want a great tablet to read and edit documents then this is worth the $$.
