This was a replacement for another Sonicare. This one is much nicer. Slimmer and easier to use. Shut poff button is not overly sensitive as on older model. I've been sing it for two weeks without charging. testing for a trip tis summer. Much improved over first model.
Pros: smaller/lighter, longer battery life, less sensitive switch
Cons: can't think of any

No Batteries

I love this product, because it's rechargeable and don't need any batteries. Save you money by not buying any batteries to it and it get's my teeth clean good!!!!!!!

The product cleans well but is not for those folks who have a muscular disability if changing toothbrushes or trying to clean the toothbrush connection to the engine piece. The old screw-on type is much better and easier.
Cons: difficulty for some

My first rechargeable toothbrush was the Elite Series which I had for several years until the battery died. I had consistent success with it and replaced it with the EasyClean 500 series; and I'm still getting the same great results. My dental hygienist has consistently complimented me on my oral hygiene and I owe it to Philips' products.
