For years I have used a rubber tipped gum stimulator after brushing and it always came away with noticeable plaque film. After brushing with the Sonicare brush it comes away clean confirming the fact that the Sonicare brush really does remove more plaque than manual brushing. Also the stains from coffee and tea are greatly reduced. I can't recomend this product too highly!

Very happy, does seem to be controlling my plague build up better than normal brushing.
However very disapointed with purchase of refills I bought at same time , they are much smaller, and gave one to my grown daughter , whom lives with me, for her to try, and it is baby sized, no where on packing did I see a label saying it was for children, have thrown out packaging when I opened, so can not return.
Pros: easy to use like 2 minute timer
Cons: size of replacement written about in review.

easy to use. love the 30 second count feature. had a problem with the charger for a bit, but it seems to be working fine again.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: the charger stopped working for a while, can't keep toothbrush in charger

Brushing with braces

I'm very happy with the results that I get from using my Sonicare toothbrush. My biggest disappointment is how frequently the heads need to be replaced. I can't afford to replace them every 2-3 weeks so I just keep using them for 3-4 months. I'm sure glad my orthodontist recommended this toothbrush. It has made brushing through my brackets so much easier.
Pros: significantly better gums when used with braces
Cons: short head life when used on braces

Needs more flexibility

Functionally this toothbrush is superb. My singular complaint is the timer. It needs to be able to be adjusted and turned off. A dial that would let me change the cycles from 30 seconds each down to 15 seconds or up to 45 seconds as well is just turning the cycle notices off would make this the perfect tool for tooth care.
Pros: it works reliably with long battery life.
Cons: the timer is inflexible at 30 sec-like it or not.
