Very disappointed in the performance of this product as compared to the two Sonicare brushes that I had had prior to this. It doesn't run as long and does not have the same strength and action.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product is quieter than older Philips electric tooth brush models, yet has the same vigorous brush action. It is convenient to take on trips, camping, etc., without running the battery down (5-day trips).
Cons: plastic housing can be easily discolored, brushhead not as durable as older heads

This is such an improvement over the sonicare's previous design. It is smaller, lighter, holds a charge much longer, and charges in half the time.
Pros: it makes my teeth feel really clean.
Cons: you have to use slimey gel toothpaste.

We bought the pair with one charger via our dentist. Love the brush, but had to replace one of them twice under warrantee. One would definitely not vibrate as strongly as the other. You were very accommodating in trying to troubleshoot the problem, but both times the base had to be replaced. replacements arrived quickly both times.
