The Xp 424 is my 3rd Epson printer. I t has exceeded my expectations in terms of efficiency and quality output of printing, scanning and copying.

My Epson printer was very easy to install. I now have it 7 months and have not had any problems at all with it. I love the fact that I only have to replace the color ink that I need. It is much more economical that way. The ink cartridges are also easy to change. The printer is very quiet, which is a big plus for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We need a small, compact printer for our condo and the XP-420 has filled the bill. Excellent print quality and just enough "bells and whistles" for our use.

My major complaint is that when it decides that one of the ink cartridges is empty, it will refuse to print the document until you replace it. Even though this is great for Epson selling more ink, sometimes you really need the document, even if the color is not right. I should be able to try to print in all cases. The other complaint is that often I have to cycle power to get it to print. The quality of the printed document is mediocre at best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to install. Have to load 3 apps for phone printing. Still can't print from Ubuntu 16.04.
This shouldn't be that hard to install.
Printing ok copies ok can't tell it multiple copies. Scanning difficult.
Initial cartridges did not let long.

Good price on a great wireless printer

This modestly priced printer/AIO is adequate or better for most of my needs. I frequently print from other rooms (laptops around the house, like everybody else) and the printer works seamlessly. The software install was a breeze, even I figured it out and I'm in my 60's. I also print from my smart phone. I recommend you check out this printer, I have tried other brands and Epson's works and connects easier than the others.

Good but expensive to use

This is the third Epson printer I have owned. The first was a NX310 and the second was a EX410. They both failed after one year of use when I allowed the ink cartridges to run dry, causing the print head to clog. The EX420 is a definite improvement over the previous models but, since I print a lot of photos the cost of ink is getting prohibitive. I am considering buying one of your Eco-tank models but I would want a printer capable of printing 9"X12" or larger.
