You get what you pay for

I did do some research on this before I purchased it, and seemed to find that it was a decent little printer for the money. However, as another reviewer mentioned, it drops the wifi connection often, and not from an issue on the wifi/router end of things. It just drops out and says it can't communicate. Most recently , however, it just stopped printing text. It's the oddest thing... one day it printed and the next it didn't. If I print something from a screen or document, boxes, colors, detail of stuff will print on the page, but anything that's text and in black does not come out. I have a new cartridge in, have cleaned and aligned the print heads to no avail.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

small but mighty

This is a small and reasonably priced printer that works perfectly. It is wireless and paired well with two different computers in different areas of the house. Perfect for home use. Color is good and printing pictures went well although that was not why I purchased it. I would recommend this printer for personal use but not for business.

Going Strong!

I purchased this inexpensive printer as a stand-in with a USB cable connection while I was without a permanent Wi-fi connection during a recent move. After some initial driver download to my MacBook issues the printer has performed very well and even with printing images frequently I have only now gotten a low black ink indication, contrary to the salesman's dismissive comment about the ink cartridges pack with the printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problems w/XP-420 printer

Bought the printer in late Nov,. 2015. By end of Dec., 2015., it began to have issues. Such as printing anything from Yahoo pg., even thou I never visited the pg. It printed pictures that I printed 2 wks. ago. Than, the real problem occurred, I had to reset the page guide lines each time I inserted paper to the printer. Also, it would not copy any documents. Than, one day it just freezed. Called the Epson tech support. They told me they will replaced it w/another. Hope it will work. S.L.
