Terrible Purchase

I wish that I never purchased this printer. I purchased the XP-410 and had many issues with that, then I received this model as a warranty replacement and it has the exact same issues. Almost every time I use the printer I have to perform a Head Cleaning or the printed text comes out off center and unlegible. The ink does not last very long and is expensive to buy, the printer will not print even black if any of the ink cartridges are deemed "needing replacement".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ink not recognized

The ink catridges are always coming up with error saying replace or reset catridge. I wasted money buying new cartridges and still the same error. Reset cartridges several times error keep coming up

I like the printer--it works well when I am able to find what I want it to do. I miss the owners manual, but I feel the printer was a good buy.

It is okay. I liked my older one better, wish they still made that one. The control panel is a bit confusing, and I have to do ctl shift p to print. My computer won't recognize the the printer when I just hit the print icon. A bit of extra work, but it does print okay. For the money it is fine. Have not tried to print photos yet, we will see.

Great out of box product, was simple to set up less than 15 minutes, ready to print, clear, concise copies. Great purchase for the price too. Love Epson printers.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. From day one this printer has not worked for me. When I first plugged it in, the test print was very smooth. Then when i went to use it to actually print something i needed, it would not feed the paper! Ever since, no matter what I tried (cleaning rollers, etc.) it would only feed the paper every now and then. It will sometimes take me up to an hour to print 1 sheet, just 1 sheet. Would not recommend this product to my friend, or even my worst enemy. 1/5 stars.

Ink dries up too fast, nozzle cleaning does nothin

I bought the xp-420 because the xp-410 was out of stock. BIG MISTAKE. The 420, even though it is supposed to be a 'better' machine, is not. The ink dries up, if you don't use it for a day or two, and the nozzle cleaning part, does NOT clean or unclog the ink. Even replacing the ink has no effect, which in turn, makes this printer pretty useless. Stick with the xp-400 or the xp-410.

Everything is pink tinged

At first it was great clear pictures. Then I had to start resetting the wireless setup every time I wanted to use it. Now when I want to print from my computer it prints everything with a pink / red tinge. I have followed all maintenance tips, checked and cleaned nozzle heads, performed alignment, checked ink levels, reset to default, nothing stops this printer from printing with a pink background color. It copies in the correct color.
