XP-420 Small-in-One

I bought it b/c it was on SALE .... Received and installed Ink-Cartridges, etc. and printed out a page. Worked nice! But then I had to use some settings which made the Printing SLOWER than anything .. more than 3-minutes per page. Some how I was able to return to factory setting which restores printing speed. I am scared to make any changes; Paper-type, Print with/without Border, adjust magnification, ANYTHING at all. It is no comparison to WorkForce -520 I had. I regret I bought it and now I must wait for it to break-down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's pretty good, except....

I really like my new printer. However, I am disappointed that I cannot scan more than one page to a file. I had a 14-page document that I needed to send to a client and I had to send 14 separate emails. Very disappointing indeed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I set it up easily. My 17 year old set up the
wireless stuff and she loves it. She has already printed pictures from her phone. I am thinking she will be using this more than me.

Love this Epson Printer (as I did my last one), incredibly easy for complete WI-FI System Setup for Computer to Printer. This Printer is a very Wise Choice for anyone's Home or Business Use. It's Compact enough, and offers many numerous features with ease on a Color Touch Screen Display! I Rate it 5 Stars, you'll truly enjoy it, as I and my family do.

Great product & it is easy to setup and use out of the box. Wireless printing is awesome I can print anytime or anywhere. I am a senior and I was able to do the install by myself!! Great purchase for the money and what I needed.

Not Happy w/ Throwaway Epson Printers

I have used both the XP-400 and XP-420 after having my HP workhorse printer get clogged w/ leaked ink.
Epson ink is also outrageously expensive but I have cut my usage in 1/2 by using an inksaver utility, so I have rectified that problem.
However, cheap parts and workmanship on these small Epson all-in-one machines make them a throwaway item, because no one wants to fix them and they are more expensive to repair than to just buy a new one.
Both XP 400 series printers have had crummy plastic feed rollers that stop working w/ #10 envelopes within 6 months. Printer software also gets easily corrupted when machine is left on using WIN and Chrome browser.
I find this to be simply unacceptable for a machine used in a small office.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

it never connects on its own, I always have to turn it on off reset the router and some times I still need to plug it in instead.
