It work nicely!

Not expensive overall and the quality is great! It prints very professionally, easy installation, small, and has everything. Scanning, copying, printing, etc. It is a tad bit loud and it constantly tells me I have a paper jam, without any paper. I would have to turn it on and off again to make the message disappear, it angers me. If the developers are listening, l would recommend you fix that glitch. Otherwise its awesome! ^-^

This is my 3rd Epson printer, and I have liked all of them. The only problem I have had is that the printer heads get clogged and I can't (no matter how meany times I clean the heads) get a good print to come up. I think that if the print heads would come out and would be able to be cleaned it would be a good feature.

I have only purchased one Epson printer prior to this purchase. Epson has consistently produced high quality prints, scans, pictures etc. I am very particular about my brand of coffee, and likewise I am very particular about my brand of printer, Epson. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for their first printer or to replace their current one. Epson is the greatest!

Epson XP-420 printer

My old printer finally broke down and I decided to replace it with the same brand. After countless hours of trying to set up my new printer without success I remembered the previous was also extremely difficult also. That is when I took it back to the store and bought an Epson XP 420. What a difference-Followed easy direction, downloaded the most current drivers followed the prompts and within 15 minutes I was printing again. This printer does everything I want it to in my home/business.

This printer is perfect for a smaller work area, for printing up papers, etc. I haven't tried printing any photos yet , but for simple items to print, its good.

Cannot connect wirelessly

Spend over an hour trying to connect this printer wirelessly to my lap top, with no success :(
No matter what I try, which set-up directions I follow, whenever I try to print, I am told the printer is "offline." Yet, I can see the wireless icon on the LCD screen. And NOWHERE can I find instructions to select "online" for this printer.
If I want to print, I have to plug in - that's not what I want from a wireless printer!

Small but capable

I love this printer. It replaced a CX4800. It is smaller, lighter, faster & has wireless connectivity & better resolution than the CX4800. It also has a bright clear color diplay. I am very pleased with it. Good job Epson.

good printing, glitchy software

My 420 does a great job but frequently loses the Epson printer icon on the desktop and I need to uninstall and reinstall the software to get it to print. Sometimes this happens within an hour of printing a document.
