Ink runs out really fast...

The printer itself works pretty well. Copying does work but it takes a really long time to print. Regular printing is fine however, it seems to be that the ink runs out really fast. I have to keep buying more and more ink cartridges. I almost want to go out and buy a new and more expensive printer just so that i do not have this problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
