This is a great printer & copier, very easy to set up. I set it up for wierless operation that was very easy compaired to others I have had in the past.

Epson XP-420 All-in-one Printer review

I use this printer at home for personal printing of e-mails, documents, plane tickets, coupons, ads, etc. I like that it has separate cartridges for different color inks, because I print mostly in black but can replace the other three colors as they become depleted. I miss one feature on my previous printer which could scan a document and convert the text into MS Word. I don't like how the scan function works as it doesn't allow me to name the file and designate a SAVE location first.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for a home printer, limited use.

I did not return this product, but sometimes I think I should have. It is a very simple printer, easy to use but very unsteady. Makes a lot of noise and when I print I actually lead the paper in because it has the tendency to print where the document looks like it is on a slide, or it paper gets stuck. It is very simple to use however. First one I bought had a problem that could not be fixed and they mailed me out a new one right away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking forward from switching from an all in one printer cannon model to an Epson with its individual color cartridges, but can not give a great review, the ink cartridges last on average less than a week, and will error while waiting to print 2 sided copies

Totally meets our needs. Works well, only negative thing is that some of the "steps" aren't clear and you need to figure them out on your own. But no big deal. Go for it!

I love my printer it is easy to set up and fits anywhere I need it. When I was looking for a printer I did not expect to get a wireless ,but now I know this was the right choice.
I can definitely say tis is one of my best purchases .

The printer works well, but does not transition well from printer to copier. I seem to spend ages trying to get the printer to work. Also, I dislike having so many cartridges for color, doesn't work better.

I think this printer, my XP-420 is the nicest, smallest, and most simple printer I have ever used, and it works perfect in my small home business. The color function works great, and the quality is beautiful, and it is so manageable. No distress with this one, at all. I use my printers a lot, and have always bought Epson, since 1983, just because the law firms where I worked all had Epsons, too. This one is so perfect for me and my home business. Thank you Epson. You have always been a good friend over the years. Quality is a good thing to have in one's life.
