I purchased this printer because my last printer died. I am pleased with this one. I wanted something that wouldn't take up too much desk space and would not break the bank. The ink is very easy to replace and the price for replacement cartridges is reasonable. I would buy again from Epson and would recommend this to a friend.

BUYER BEWARE WILL NOT PRINT IF IT RUNS OUT OF COLORED INK EVEN IF YOU ARE ONLY USING BLACK PRINT MODE. THE DESCRIPTION SAYS IT WILL BUT IT WILL NOT ! INK RUNS OUT WAY TO FAST. WEIGH THE CARTRIDGES AND YOU WILL SEE THERE IS HARDLY ANY DIFFERENCE IN WEIGHT WHETHER NEW OR EMPTY. WHY? INK SHORTAGE, MAYBE ??? I AM CONSTANTLY RUNNING BACK AND FORTH TO STORE TO GET MORE INK BECAUSE IT WONT PRINT WHEN ONE COLOR GETS LOW . USES WAY TO MUCH INK TO CHARGE AND CLEAN. WHY DO YOU NEED BLUE OR RED INK WHEN YOU ARE ONLY PRINTING IN BLACK ? I WISH THERE WAS A PORTABLE ALL -IN - ONE THAT DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT STATES IT WILL DO AND BE COST EFFECTIVE

Getting set up

I found getting my new printer set up was a little daunting. But then I have trouble with a simple screw driver. It is compact, prints great and the reproductions are super. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to insert the cartridges since this was my first Epson., I like the fact that using a Mac computer it has been recommended on several sites as the way to go. Glad I listened. I recommended this to my daughter and she bought one too, but a more expensive model as she uses hers professionally.

Great Printer

For the money this is the best printer on the market. This is the third Epson printer I have owned. Only draw back I can see is that the ink cartridge doesn't last las long as others. I would certainly recommend this printer.

Bought this Epson after having to deal with daily paper jams of another brand. Couldn't be happier. Quiet, fast and the ink seems to last a bit longer. Definitely recommend.
