Another Gem

I already have an XP-410. The XP-420 was to replace an HP printer that was failing. I bought the XP-420 based on my experience with the 410 which has been absolutely superb -- both in terms of its capabilities and its control panel. Now I have the capability of using either one from both my computers. I couldn't ask for more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this Epson wireless printer as a retirement gift. It is easy to use and I love the wireless. It was easy to load up to my laptop, which is what I now use more than the computer on my desk.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson XP-420 Small-in-One® All-in-one

I love it! I am a teacher and it is perfect for those times when I need just one copy and can't go to the workroom printer. Also it scans and copies so I can save to my computer or copy something a student brings in to show but I can't keep. Plus it doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product and Ink

The printer itself is great!
Would like the capability to print only in black though
Buying colored ink when I don't always need color is expensive.
The ink cartridges are expensive and do not last long.

Good value

I purchased 3 of these to use for registration at a conference. It handled all the media we needed from plain paper to labels to single print badges (3x4) to perforated card stock (business cards and larger). I didn't have a need to print envelopes. We even did a few pictures which were decent on regular paper, but didn't try the photo paper (wasn't a need for us).
I had a concern buying it because it's the first "top feed" printer I've used, but it was no problem!
I'm using it in wireless mode at home with no problem. At the conference we had some issues with wireless but in a casino with multiple networks you might say that was to be expected!
They were fine when wired to our laptops.
Re: ink usage, I bought way too much! The starter cartridges lasted much longer than I expected. If you're buying extra, go low on the yellow. For our purposes we hardly used any of that color. Obviously if you're expecting to do a lot of green you'd need more.
