Printer problems

My printer prints fine and clear for 3 lines and then 1 line is so blurry that you can't read the printed text. Copies are clear throughout the enitre document.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really a great printer. Love all the options available when scanning. Works great with Windows 10.

Great Printers

I purchased two of your work station printers within the last year. One was for my business and one was for my son who is a first year medical student.
He processes a lot more paper and ink than I do and both machines are real work horses. They both have had no problems are there when needed.
Color is super and quality and speed are there when needed.

Very slow and should come with a printed manual. Difficult to find how to control it.

A little cumbersome to handle sometimes, prints fine. Slow in photos, makes beautiful four by six prints.

Excellent value

I bought this printer to have as an almost-full-featured printer for my wife and me when we are on extended trips away from home. It has been an excellent value: outstanding print quality; desirable features such as color printing, scanning, wireless connection; efficient use of ink; a size that doesn't take up lots of space in the car or at the homes we rent when we travel; and all that for a surprisingly reasonable price. There are two features I wish it had - duplex printing in order to save paper, and multi-sheet feed for more efficient copying and scanning multiple-page documents into a single scanned document. Had I been paying attention to my own likely needs and uses I might have purchased a different model instead of the XP-420, in order to have those added features, but that's my issue, not Epson's. The simple fact is that the XP-450 is a terrific machine!
I would recommend this to a friend!
