Nice Sound...Remote not so nice...

Simple to setup and great sound for a bar, but what is up with the remote? Ugh...you can't control it with a Samsung remote for a TV? Not even the volume? Who made that call?
Its too bad because for the price its a very nice unit. I marked this as a "2" for design because I think not being able to use a Samsung (UN55D8000) remote is a serious design flaw.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: not integrated with tv remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful features and sound

Love our HDTV, but was very dissappointed in the speaker output. This system really provides wonderful sound output and has wonderful features.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great investment, way better than a sound system or speakers. Little bar, but projects great sound, A must for any flat screen tv.

We're happy we decided to buy the sound bar. The 3D sound feature fills the room with rich sound without high volume. The HD tv, blu ray and the sound bar are a perfect blend.

This Sound Bar makes my Samsung LED sound better especially on movies. This is why I purchased it.
Setup was easy through optical cables.

The Bass from the Sub is nonexistent.
No remote support on Samsung TV supplied remote.
The display cannot be seen unless you are on top of the Sound Bar.

All these were the typical complains I have read here, so I knew the limitations involved.

Annoying To Use

The sound quality is great! For the price, you cant beat it. The only down side to it, is not being able to control it with the universal remote. I have tried everything to program it, but nothing works. So you constantly have to fumble around with 2 remotes. My TV, Cable Box, and DVD all work with the Universal Remote, and were easy to program. Not the sound bar. To be quite honest, everything "Samsung" that I have ever owned, has giving me trouble with remote programing. So maybe its time to stop buying Samsung products....

Cons: can not use with universal remote

just bought this recently and i love it. The sound is excellent, love the wireless subwoofer. Love the design of the bar. great quality sound.
